Rate of BITCOIN tumbling massively increases after Chinese regulators confirmed ban •BTCCHINA exchange to halt Bitcoin hrade in China Sep 30Bitcoin continued to tumble Thursday, trading down 6.6% to $3,634.82 per dollar at 8:13 a.m. ET, after Chinese media reported that the country’s regulators were moving closer to shutting down exchanges.

Reports from Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal on Monday first indicated that China planned to ban trading of bitcoin and other virtual currencies on its exchanges.

Bobby Lee, CEO of the bitcoin exchange BTCChina, tweeted Thursday that the firm would stop all trading on September 30 following China’s ban on initial coin offerings, the cryptocurrency-based fundraising method.

According to Bloomberg, China Business News reported that the city of Shanghai had ordered the closure of bitcoin trading platforms. The website Crypto Coins News further cited a local newsletter that said banning bitcoin exchanges was “certain.”

Bitcoin has come under pressure in recent weeks following negative headlines out of the UK and China.

On Tuesday, the Financial Conduct Authority, a UK watchdog, warned investors about the risk associated with ICOs.

Also, rumors that China may ban cryptocurrency trading altogether have escalated; a Caixin report out Friday suggested that China would shut down its domestic exchanges.

Earlier this week, JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon said it was a “fraud” that would eventually blow up.

The cryptocurrency has plunged about 25% since its September 1 high. But it’s still up nearly 300% this year.

After carefully considering the announcement published by Chinese regulators on 09/04, BTCChina Exchange will stop all trading on 09/30 — BTCC (@YourBTCC) September 14, 2017

The shutdown only affects Chinese traders, leaving international exchange operations to continue as usual. This morning, BTCC tweeted that it had decided to halt trading on its BTCChina Exchange. A more explanatory statement was posted on a Chinese social media site by an official of the exchange. The translation of the statement indicates that BTCC will heed the spirit of a September 4 issuance by the “People’s Bank of China Central Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Ministry of Industry and Commerce, China Banking Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission on the prevention and treatment of the risk of issuing currency,” and will stop the registration of new users on the China-based digital asset platform, effective immediately.

BTCC also said that on “September 30, 2017, Digital asset trading platform will stop all trading business,” adding that the measure would not affect Beitou China’s pool. Although BTCC is shutting down China-side exchange operations, it should be noted that there has yet to be any further announcements from regulatory officials in China since the People’s Bank of China released a statement on token offerings.

Providing additional background, cnLedger tweeted that BTCC had listed a token called ico-coin on its platform which likely would have caused Chinese regulators to scrutinize the exchange, given its explicit purpose for token offering-based crowdfunding. Other exchanges, according to cnLedger, are not shutting down:

What exactly Americans saw, got so angry and elected Trump: Bill O’Reilly Speaking On DACA Immigration Issues

Bill O’Reilly discussed the current state of immigration reform with Breitbart News Daily. Excerpt:

“We decided to write a book that showed how brutal the struggle was for our freedoms that we have today,” O’Reilly said. “But in order to do that, you had to say who George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin actually were as people, as men. They were like all human beings: some strengths, some weaknesses.”

He said there was no question in his mind that the radical left is working to slander the great figures in American history and obliterate their monuments because “it’s the Constitution that they ultimately want to overturn.”

“The statues are just a wayside to get to the Constitution. They’re basically saying America is a bad country. White supremacy is how it was established. The Constitution is based on white supremacy,” he explained.

“All of this is the belief system of the far left. They don’t ever say it, but that’s what it is. The statues are just symbols. I said very early on, when I saw this controversy in Charlottesville, hey, it’s not going to stop with Robert E. Lee or the Confederate generals. This is going to go into the fabric of our country and who we really are as a people because the far left thinks that we’re a bad country. Traditional conservative Americans think we’re a noble country.”

“That’s always been the struggle. I urge people to read Killing England to get an idea what these people were really like – Washington, Jefferson, Franklin – so then, you can make an argument that, hey, just because you were a slave owner back in the late eighteenth century doesn’t negate all the heroic things that you did. That’s the argument, so I’m trying to get some perspective here. It extends into DACA. It extends into every issue we’re dealing with today,” said O’Reilly.

O’Reilly said this visceral hatred of American history is a core element of both far-left and far-right ideologies. “To me, though, they used to be marginalized in this country, the fringe, but now the far-left fringe has gained traction,” he warned.

“That’s what people are seeing, and that’s why they’re so angry. That’s why Trump got elected: because the insanity of saying to the world, ‘America is a bad country based on racism’ – which is what the Colin Kaepernick thing is all about, all the controversies we have today stem back to the original founding of the nation,” he argued. “The radical left believes that this is a bad country from the jump, and they have to change it into this socialistic, communist paradise. That’s what the struggle is.”

“I think people have to realize [is] number one, how severe the problem has become and number two, that it’s going to take courage to fight it,” O’Reilly said. “I’m the poster boy for that. I’ve been under attack for 16 years, and finally, these forces of evil and darkness got me. It was a confluence of events that someday all of it will be exposed.”

“People are going to have to have courage to stand up and say, ‘Enough. We don’t believe our country is evil. We don’t believe that white supremacy rules in the White House.’ Unless we are willing to do that and make a sacrifice – because when you do that, you’re going to be attacked, and that’s why it’s important to read Killing England and see what Washington, in particular, George Washington went through, the suffering of the man, what he had to go through to make this Revolution a reality,” he said.

“We all have our mini-Revolutions here, and we’re going to have to stand up and stop this madness. It is madness. It has reached this point. The Trump election demonstrated the folks are sick of it, but now the folks are going to have to make, individually, decisions to speak out against it,” O’Reilly said.

Kassam asked for O’Reilly’s take on President Trump’s reported amnesty deal with Democratic leaders, which he joked had some Trump voters thinking it would be necessary to Make Trump Great Again before Trump can fulfill his campaign promise to Make America Great Again.

President Trump and O’Reilly
O’Reilly responded by advising everyone to “step back for a moment and wait until the facts emerge.”

“What’s happening now – and this is a tactic of the far left – Schumer and Pelosi understand that the fastest way to destroy Donald Trump is to get his base angry at him,” O’Reilly elaborated. That’s fact number one. Nancy Pelosi and Charles Schumer want Trump’s base to be angry with him and feel betrayed. That’s where you start. So any meeting and any dinner, anything, they’re going to come out, those two, and spin it like ‘Trump is giving in to us.’ That’s fact number two, which is exactly what they did last night.”

“We don’t know what Donald Trump is going to do about DACA. We don’t know,” he pointed out. “We don’t know what the legislation is going to look like. We don’t know anything about it. So I would urge your audience to be a little constrained right now and wait and see. Wait and see.”

“Yes, you want the wall. I supported the wall. Trump’s going to find a way to secure that border. He’s already done a pretty good job down there in six months. Give him a little credit for that,” O’Reilly advised.

Breitbart News Daily - Bill O’Reilly - September 14, 2017

“Whether it’s a wall to wall, San Diego to Brownsville – it’s probably not going to be that, but there’s going to be portions of a wall there. On the DACA front, they’re not going to deport 800,000 people. That’s impossible. It’s not going to happen, and it’s not fair, either. George Washington wouldn’t have done it,” he contended.

“But there has to be a compromise made wherein these 800,000 are going to have to go through a stringent background check and regulations in order to stay and work,” he added. “At the same time, the Democratic Party is going to have to agree that sanctuary cities and all this other business are done. You are going to have to obey federal law.”

“The compromises can be made. I would urge everybody who supports Donald Trump to step back a little and see what happens. Remember, Trump has the power. He has the power. He can do executive orders to make things happen. Pelosi and Schumer don’t have it. What Pelosi and Schumer do have is the press. They play to the press, which gets everybody hysterical,” he said.

O’Reilly said he encourages passion from those who voted for Trump because they liked his rule-of-law stance on immigration reform, but added he does not endorse “blanket insanity.”

“If you think 800,000 people are going to be deported, who came here because their parents dragged them here, that’s not going to happen,” he repeated. “It’s not. So accept it.”

Kassam suggested Trump voters might be willing to accept permanent status for those 800,000 if it were “tied to the border wall itself,” but that seems to be off the table.

“I don’t know if it’s going to be a border wall per se, but that doesn’t mean Trump can’t build the wall,” O’Reilly countered. “Because he will. He has to. But it has to be tied to tighter restrictions on immigration. It has to.”

Celebrity Chef Says He Would Include Poisonous Herb in Trump’s Food

Celebrity Chef Says He Would Include Poisonous Herb in Trump’s Food
The Poisonous Hemlock plant
TV foodie Anthony Bourdain told paparazzi outside an airport that if he was asked to cater a dinner for President Donald Trump, he would poison the food.

The former Food Network personality and current host of CNN’s Parts Unknown was caught outside LAX airport by a photographer for celebrity gossip website TMZ.

When asked what Bourdain would serve if he was asked to cater a dinner for President Trump.

Bourdain answered simply, “Hemlock,” appearing to admit he would poison the president if given the chance.

The TMZ reporter also asked about what the TV chef thinks of the president’s tweets, but all Bourdain gave was a shrug of his shoulders.

This isn’t the first time the TV food personality spoke about dining with the president. Last year, Bourdain said he would “absolutely f*cking not” dine with Trump.

Bourdain has said in 2016 he would boycott the restaurant in Trump’s Washington D.C. hotel.

“I will never eat in his restaurant,” Bourdain said right after Trump won the White House. “I have utter contempt for him, utter and complete contempt.”

UNIMAGINABLE! See an amazing online forum dedicated to shoplifters where thieves boast about stolen items and share photos

The internet is littered with niche sites catering for the most minority interests including shoplifting.
An extraordinary forum has been designed to bring thieves together in an online community where they can discuss their conquests.

Hosted on social media site Reddit, the subreddit r/Shoplifting sees light fingered members, of which there are 36,000, boast about latest 'hauls' and even sharing photos of the goods they've stolen.

Subreddit r/Shoplifting is a forum dedicated to shoplifters where thieves gather to boast about their conquests and share pictures of their 'hauls', such as the one above

Many of the posts on the forum see pilfering on a minor scale with shoplifters bringing home packs of Pokemon cards and stationary.

However, others operate on a far larger scale sharing photos of thousands of pounds worth of designer goods and electrical equipment - all of which they claim to have stolen.
Some users list the reasons behind each particular haul whether it's treats for a Friday night, much needed bathroom supplies or, in one case, a birthday gift.

In this post the criminal admitted to running out of bathroom 'essentials' and rather than pay for them got a five finger discount

This thief stocked up on snacks in anticipation of their night in watching a movie

As you can see above, one user boasted of getting away with hundreds of pounds worth of Victoria's Secret goods over the space of two days

And for this guy? His sister is going to be excited at her gifts, not knowing they were all stolen.

Others admit to committing the offense in order to make a profit with one Redditor shoplyft3rShoplifter posting: 'In the last 30 days I've sold over $2,500 of merchandise on eBay, Craigslist, and Facebook (fake account). And people still ask why we shoplift... that's why I lift.'

The site is also littered with threads from first time 'lifters' asking for help and advice from more seasoned thieves.

Members can be seen swapping tips on tactics for stealing including the 'walkout method' as well as giving advice on what will set off a security alarm.

Many users who are new to 'lifting' take to the site to ask more seasoned thieves for advice

Operating under usernames members remain completely anonymous, however, many choose to post under 'throwaway' accounts, deleting their accounts once they have posted.

While the forum is welcome to all the site's organisers are keen to iterate that any judgement is not tolerated.

The description of the forum reads:  'Welcome to Shoplifting! If you're here to preach morals, enjoy your very brief stay.

While many of the 'hauls' consist of inexpensive goods others see shoplifters get away with taking hundreds of pounds worth of designer goods

'If you're here to learn and share, please help contribute to our wonderful community of allegedly corrupt and soulless individuals.'

The forum's leaders also attempt to explain the psychology behind the criminal behaviour.

Under 'what motivates shoplifters?' they say: 'For the affluent, it can be kleptomania or thrill-seeking. For the poor, a means of feeding a family or addiction, or simply boredom.'

They have this amazing coded languages they use to explain make conversations on Reddit. Some of them includes:

NVI = Non-Violent Intervention
APS = Asset Protection Specialist
LPA = Loss Prevention Agent
PTZ = Pan/Tilt/Zoom (Cameras)
EAS = Electronic Article Surveillance
POS = Point of Sale
NPD = Non-Productive Detainment
NAA = Non-Apprehension Approach
HPA = Hours Per Apprehension
SRA = Sales-Reducing Activities
SKU = Stock-Keeping Unit
ORC = Organized Retail Crime

SWIM = Someone Who Isn't Me

According to MailOnline , they have contacted Reddit for a comment.

We shall keep you posted when they responds.

'I was gang-raped on my wedding day' - The amazing story of pastor Terry Gobanga

When Terry Gobanga - then Terry Apudo - didn't show up to her wedding, nobody could have guessed that she had been abducted, raped and left for dead by the roadside. It was the first of two tragedies to hit the young Nairobi pastor in quick succession. But she is a survivor.

It was going to be a very big wedding. I was a pastor, so all our church members were coming, as well as all our relatives. My fiance, Harry, and I were very excited - we were getting married in All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi and I had rented a beautiful dress.

But the night before the wedding I realised that I had some of Harry's clothes, including his cravat. He couldn't show up without a tie, so a friend who had stayed the night offered to take it to him first thing in the morning. We got up at dawn and I walked her to the bus station.

As I was making my way back home, I walked past a guy sitting on the bonnet of a car - suddenly he grabbed me from behind and dumped me in the back seat. There were two more men inside, and they drove off. It all happened in a fraction of a second.

A piece of cloth was stuffed in my mouth. I was kicking and hitting out and trying to scream. When I managed to push the gag out, I screamed: "It's my wedding day!" That was when I got the first blow. One of the men told me to "co-operate or you will die".

The men took turns to rape me. I felt sure I was going to die, but I was still fighting for my life, so when one of the men took the gag out of my mouth I bit his manhood. He screamed in pain and one of them stabbed me in the stomach. Then they opened the door and threw me out of the moving car.

I was miles from home, outside Nairobi. More than six hours had passed since I had been abducted.
A child saw me being thrown out and called her grandmother. People came running. When the police came they tried to get a pulse, but no-one could. Thinking I was dead, they wrapped me in a blanket and started to take me to the mortuary. But on the way there, I choked on the blanket and coughed. The policeman said: "She's alive?" And he turned the car around and drove me to the biggest government hospital in Kenya.

I arrived in great shock, murmuring incoherently. I was half-naked and covered in blood, and my face was swollen from being punched. But something must have alerted the matron, because she guessed I was a bride. "Let's go around the churches to see if they're missing a bride," she told the nurses.

By coincidence, the first church they called at was All Saints Cathedral. "Are you missing a bride?" the nurse asked.

The minister said: "Yes, there was a wedding at 10 o'clock and she didn't come."
When I didn't show up to the church, my parents were panicking. People were sent out to search for me. Rumours flew. Some wondered: "Did she change her mind?" Others said: "No, it's so unlike her, what happened?"

After a few hours, they had to take down the decorations to make room for the next ceremony. Harry had been put in the vestry to wait.

When they heard where I was, my parents came to the hospital with the whole entourage. Harry was actually carrying my wedding gown. But the media had also got wind of the story so there were reporters too.

I was moved to another hospital where I'd have more privacy. That was where the doctors stitched me up and gave me some devastating news: "The stab wound went deep into your womb, so you won't be able to carry any children."

I was given the morning-after pill, as well as antiretroviral drugs to protect me from HIV and Aids. My mind shut down, it refused to accept what had happened.

Harry kept saying he still wanted to marry me. "I want to take care of her and make sure she comes back to good health in my arms, in our house," he said. Truth be told, I wasn't in a position to say Yes or No because my mind was so jammed with the faces of the three men, and with everything that had happened.

A few days later, when I was less sedated, I was able to look him in the eye. I kept saying sorry. I felt like I had let him down. Some people said it was my own fault for leaving the house in the morning. It was really hurtful, but my family and Harry supported me.

The police never caught the rapists. I went to line-up after line-up but I didn't recognise any of the men, and it hurt me each time I went. It set back my recovery - it was 10 steps forward, 20 back. In the end I went back to the police station and said: "You know what, I'm done. I just want to leave it."
Three months after the attack I was told I was HIV-negative and got really excited, but they told me I had to wait three more months to be sure. Still, Harry and I began to plan our second wedding.

Although I had been very angry at the press intrusion, somebody read my story and asked to meet me. Her name was Vip Ogolla, and she was also a rape survivor. We spoke, and she told me she and her friends wanted to give me a free wedding. "Go wild, have whatever you want," she said.

I was ecstatic. I went for a different type of cake, much more expensive. Instead of a rented gown, now I could have one that was totally mine.

In July 2005, seven months after our first planned wedding, Harry and I got married and went on a honeymoon.

Twenty-nine days later, we were at home on a very cold night. Harry lit a charcoal burner and took it to the bedroom. After dinner, he removed it because the room was really warm. I got under the covers as he locked up the house. When he came to bed he said he was feeling dizzy, but we thought nothing of it.

It was so cold we couldn't sleep, so I suggested getting another duvet. But Harry said he couldn't get it as he didn't have enough strength. Strangely, I couldn't stand up either. We realised something was very wrong. He passed out. I passed out. I remember coming to. I would call him. At times he would respond, at other times he wouldn't. I pushed myself out of bed and threw up, which gave me some strength. I started crawling to the phone. I called my neighbour and said: "Something is wrong, Harry is not responding."

She came over immediately but it took me ages to crawl to the front door to let her in as I kept passing out. I saw an avalanche of people coming in, screaming. And I passed out again.
I woke up in hospital and asked where my husband was. They said they were working on him in the next room. I said: "I'm a pastor, I've seen quite a lot in my life, I need you to be very straight with me." The doctor looked at me and said: "I'm sorry, your husband did not make it."
I couldn't believe it.

Going back to church for the funeral was terrible. Just a month earlier I had been there in my white dress, with Harry standing at the front looking handsome in his suit. Now, I was in black and he was being wheeled in, in a casket.

People thought I was cursed and held back their children from me. "There's a bad omen hanging over her," they said. At one point, I actually believed it myself.

Others accused me of killing my husband. That really got me down - I was grieving.
The post-mortem showed what really happened: as the carbon monoxide filled his system, he started choking and suffocated.

I had a terrible breakdown. I felt let down by God, I felt let down by everybody. I couldn't believe that people could be laughing, going out and just going about life. I crashed.

One day I was sitting on the balcony looking at the birds chirping away and I said: "God, how can you take care of the birds and not me?" In that instant I remembered there are 24 hours a day - sitting in depression with your curtains closed, no-one's going to give you back those 24 hours. Before you know, it's a week, a month, a year wasted away. That was a tough reality.

I told everybody I would never ever get married again. God took my husband, and the thought of ever going through such a loss again was too much. It's something I wouldn't wish on anybody. The pain is so intense, you feel it in your nails.

But there was one man - Tonny Gobanga - who kept visiting. He would encourage me to talk about my husband and think about the good times. One time he didn't call for three days and I was so angry. That's when it hit me that I had fallen for him.

Tonny proposed marriage but I told him to buy a magazine, read my story and tell me if he still loved me. He came back and said he still wanted to marry me.

But I said: "Listen, there's another thing - I can't have children, so I cannot get married to you."
"Children are a gift from God," he said. "If we get them, Amen. If not, I will have more time to love you."

I thought: "Wow, what a line!" So I said Yes.

Tonny went home to tell his parents, who were very excited, until they heard my story. "You can't marry her - she is cursed," they said. My father-in-law refused to attend the wedding, but we went ahead anyway. We had 800 guests - many came out of curiosity.

It was three years after my first wedding, and I was very scared. When we were exchanging vows, I thought: "Here I am again Father, please don't let him die." As the congregation prayed for us I cried uncontrollably.

A year into our marriage, I felt unwell and went to the doctor - and to my great surprise he told me that I was pregnant.
As the months progressed I was put on total bed rest, because of the stab wound to my womb. But all went well, and we had a baby girl who we called Tehille. Four years later, we had another baby girl named Towdah.

Today, I am the best of friends with my father-in-law.

I wrote a book, Crawling out of Darkness, about my ordeal, to give people hope of rising again. I also started an organisation called Kara Olmurani. We work with rape survivors, as I call them - not rape victims. We offer counselling and support. We are looking to start a halfway house for them where they can come and find their footing before going back to face the world.

I have forgiven my attackers. It wasn't easy but I realised I was getting a raw deal by being upset with people who probably don't care. My faith also encourages me to forgive and not repay evil with evil but with good.

The most important thing is to mourn. Go through every step of it. Get upset until you are willing to do something about your situation. You have to keep moving, crawl if you have to. But move towards your destiny because it's waiting, and you have to go and get it.

How to set up a business with Purpose

To be successful in business in this 21st century is no longer just about making money or moving up the corporate ladder. More and more, its becoming clearer that one of the biggest indicators of success is purpose.

Somebody defined purpose as your talent helping people accomplish their targets. Apart from the day you are born, the next important date in your life should be the day you discovers why you were born.

We can say purpose is a man's sense of resolve. But, how can you create a project with purpose? That is why we are looking at these 5 simple ways.

 1. Find your purpose:
What are you passionate about that could also benefit others? You are expected to know  know your field very well and be passionate about it. Also recognise that something must be done to make it sustainable for future generations. The desire to do something on purpose must start from within.

2. Lead a balanced life:
If you don’t have purpose in your life, you won’t have purpose in your business. You may be working hard, but much more also, you must focus on yourself with meditation and good record keeping. Keep a good tab on yourself. You either strike a balance or you strike out.

3.Step up to the challenge:
Don’t just leave your passion to be realised and acted upon by someone else – step up to the challenge.  You can’t change the world by yourself ! It’s going to be how many people you can convince to do business with you but it does take somebody to start.

4. Give back:
Self-fulfillment is one thing, but there’s much greater satisfaction to be gained from doing something that benefits your community. Don't just establish the structure to sustain your business but much more,  challenge the way people think about their future, and collectively, our future. Do not strive to build and empire all by yourself, build people, invest in them and you will be amazed those people will come round to form the empire of your dream.

5. Believe in others:
If you engage with others and allow them to participate, you will see humankind’s potential for greatness. It will amaze you that when you talk to people about your project, most response you get will be "how can I help?"
You will find more fulfillment when your success is not built around only you.

3 Basic Questions You must Ask Yourself Every Morning As An Entrepreneur

The morning is a powerful time to frame your mindset for the day ahead.

One of the best lifestyle practices you can get into as an entrepreneur is to start the day with some bold and optimistic questions to set the tone for how you’re going to approach what comes next. This helps you to be prepared for opportunities throughout the day by keeping your eyes open to possibility when there are inevitable challenges.

Here are three questions you should ask yourself every morning as soon as you wake up to help you be a rock star entrepreneur.

1. Who can I help today? There’s a famous Plato quote -- “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” It’s easy to wake up and have your very first thoughts be, “I didn’t get enough sleep” or “I’m so busy … how will I get it all done?”
While those thoughts are perfectly normal, they’re not necessarily inspiring. Everyone has something to offer others. When you start your day asking how you can be of service, it is tantamount to you saying, “I’ve got something to offer. I’ve got something to give.”
That’s a more empowering place to come from in life: offering value. Spend a few minutes brainstorming ideas of ways you can help people and watch throughout the day as new opportunities to help will undoubtedly spring up.

2. What can I do better today? This can be as broad or specific as you want, but the point is to conceptualize what positive actions you can take today to be just a little bit better than the day before.

Did you slack off and skip the gym when you know you really needed to go? How can you take a positive step to ensure that the gym happens today? Lose your temper with someone on the staff and you wish you would’ve handled better? Brainstorm how you can approach that person today with a better understanding, and if necessary, an apology for your bad behavior.

It’s not about being perfect or fake -- it’s about trying to make each day’s efforts a little better than yesterday’s errors. Just like success doesn’t happen overnight for your business, you don’t become an excellent leader or entrepreneur quickly. You lean into each day with more wisdom and a greater commitment to improve and excel at your own life.

3. How can I create value today? While this may sound similar to asking “who can I help,” this question is about creating value through your work. It’s important to think up the ways your daily work is providing value for everyone. What you do should make a lot of people better off.

It can be through the quality service or superior product you offer or even great content you share, the form isn’t important -- the value is what's important. The value that you're motivated to create will make instinctual tie to your mission for best results.

Practical Ways To Break Your Cell Phone Addictions

I was driving towards a mall recently and I couldn’t help but notice a young lady along the road talking loudly on her phone. She was using her speakerphone so I could hear both sides of her conversation even while driving.

Phone rudeness can be found nearly everywhere we go and it seems to be getting worse. A report on internet trend, as far back 2013 made it known that we unlock our phones anywhere between 110 and 150 times every day. At the same time, we run the risk of alienating ourselves and offending others.
In a study of 1,600 managers and professionals, Leslie Perlow, the Konosuke Matsushita professor of leadership at the Harvard Business School, found that:

• 70 percent said they check their Phone within an hour of getting up.
• 56 percent check their phone within an hour of going to sleep.
• 48 percent check over the weekend, including on Friday and Saturday nights.
• 51 percent check continuously during vacation.
• 44 percent said they would experience "a great deal of anxiety" if they lost their phone and couldn't replace it for a week.

Let’s check out these  eight easy tips to make your phone one of your greatest assets — not a source of endless interruptions.

1.Be in the now.
Don’t try to multi-task and check email while you’re in a meeting or having a conversation with someone. Anytime you’re expected to participate or simply listen to someone else, silence your phone. Incessant phone checking breaks your concentration and makes it difficult to get back on track. There’s no need to look at your phone every time someone sends you a tweet or comments on a Facebook post. Almost every app on your phone can be tweaked so that push notifications are disabled. The best way to avoid distractions is to turn your phone off, put it on airplane mode, or put it away completely.

2.Keep confidential information private.
Be aware of your surroundings. If you need to speak to someone about a private matter, find an empty room or a quiet corner to have your conversation. You never know who might overhear part, or all, of your conversation.

3.Stay calm. When you’re in a public place and receive a phone call you know will be difficult or emotional, let it go to voicemail. If you give yourself some time to collect your thoughts you’re more apt to have a calm, rational conversation. Try to keep your cool while you speak to someone on your cell phone in front of others. Emotional outbursts will only embarrass you and intrude on others.

4.Set your phone to vibrate.
Take advantage of your phone’s silent and vibration settings. Turn your phone’s ringer off and keep it out of sight when you attend an important business meeting, a religious service, visit your kids’ school, go out to eat, or enjoy a sporting event. If you put your phone on the table, it sends the signal that the potential caller is more important than those you are with.

5.Avoid “cell yell.”
Always use your regular conversational voice when speaking to someone on your cell phone. Be mindful of your volume in airports and other busy places where people tend to speak more loudly than usual. The last person you want to attract is an eavesdropper.

6.Step away to take a call.
If you’re at lunch or in a meeting, always let your dining companions know ahead of time if you have to take or make an important call. Excuse yourself and take the call away from the table. Do your best to prioritize the people you’re with over unexpected calls, emails and texts.

7.Be a responsible driver. If you’re in heavy traffic or hazardous driving conditions, don’t answer your phone. Wait until you come to a stop before you take the opportunity to make a call. Always use a hands-free device so you can focus on driving. Never text and drive. A quick text message is not worth risking your safety or the safety of those around you.

8.Get unplugged occasionally.
If you have an important project you need to complete or you just want to spend quality time with friends and family, leave your phone in another room and try not to check it more than two or three times a day. Give yourself a phone break once in a while. Ultimately, you want to be in control of your phone and not the other way around.

Break loose from the norm; Do the UNUSSUAL

When you look closely at the image above, you will notice a herd of sheep leaving the stall. There is no fence mounted to block them, only the gate, created with rope. That is what I call trap of thinking. That is the way many people reason, especially when it comes to their dreams and aspirations.

If you look well, you will notice there are no boundaries and no limits to how far they can go to speed up their journey towards their desired destinations in life but because those at the edges could not think out of box or lets say they are trapped in their thoughts that the only way to their destinations is to pass that small gate. As far as pursuing your dreams and hitting your target is concerned, you should not be monopolised by anybody

Overtaking is ALLOWED!

Dear reader, I encourage you to break the ranks today! You don't have to follow the crow to achieve your desired goals! I challenge you to dare to be different and create a new destiny for yourself, your family and your society.

The economy is tight, yet people are still buying cars. People are opening new businesses. People are expanding new frontiers. Great and awesome things are yet happening in righteousness!

Stop complaining! The government is not the answer for the hour. God, but through you is the driver of your destiny. I have never seen anytime in the history of the human race when there are no hard times. Yet people made waves and affected their generation.

If you see anybody complaining, you see a frustrated lazy man or woman looking for cheap answers and solutions. Either mentally or physically

Nothing in life will ever come easy. I belief what we need in this period of recession is the drive to push until victory comes. FOCUS- Follow your target Until Successful is reached.

Many successful people had tried one thing or the other before they became successful.

Keep trying. If you fail, try again. If you fail again, try again. And as you keep trying in the right direction and at the right things, success will surely come.

Real reason Donald Trump doesn't pay taxes

During U.S. presidential debate On Monday night at Hofstra University, the United States' Republican presidential flag bearer, Donald Trump indicated that perhaps he doesn’t pay any taxes. This generated insinuations in many quarters suggesting he does not pay his fair share.

Hilary Clinton of Democrats first raised the prospect of Trump not paying any federal income tax during a discussion of why Trump hasn’t released his tax returns. She based the allegation on several returns Trump once provided in order to receive an Atlantic City casino license, although he did pay federal income tax in some of those years. During the debate, the duo started arguing on the large federal debt, while Clinton stylishly raised it that perhaps it would be smaller if Trump paid income tax in the past years and to this Trump seemed to have replied “It would be squandered too. Believe me”.

Acording to Mr Tom Wheelwright, Rich Dad Advisor on mybestadvisors.com, an online finance coaching platform, the eyebrow illustrates the lack of financial education surrounding tax system.

Tom explained; "the U.S. tax system raises about $2.1 Trillion every year. However, it also provides tax benefits of over $17.1 Trillion. The tax law is a series of incentives for business owners and investors to encourage certain activities. One of the most encouraged activities is real estate.

In fact, it would be shocking if, under the current U.S. tax law, Donald Trump pays any taxes at all. While people can argue all day long about whether this is fair, this is the reality and Mr. Trump is not alone. In fact, any U.S. Taxpayer who owns a significant amount of real estate probably pays very little tax.

The tax law punishes employees and rewards employers and investors. This is true in every country, not just in the U.S. The government uses the tax law to encourage people to follow its policies."

According to Tom's Analysis, Donald Trump, being a big time real estate  investor was talking from this angle.

The summary of it is, be an investor, no matter how small. It is safe for you!

How to master failure!

Written by Robert Kiyosaki

There are a lot of great entrepreneurs out there, but one of my favorites is Thomas Edison. I think I’m such a fan because, like me, he failed so much more than he succeeded. Of course, he learned how to turn those failures into golden lessons.

When I was a kid, we learned about Thomas Edison in school. When I told my rich dad that we were studying Edison’s life, he asked me if they’d taught me how he became so prolific. “No,” I replied. “We only learned about how he invented the light bulb.” “Well, I'm sorry to contradict your teacher,” rich dad said. “But, Thomas Edison didn’t invent the light bulb.”

Rich dad explained that there were many other people who had invented light bulbs before Edison. The problem was that these light bulbs were not practical. They would die out too soon. Also, these inventors could not explain why a light bulb was commercially valuable.

In short, they had a great idea, but they didn’t have a business. Edison, on the other hand, not only invented a better light bulb, but he also built a business around it. He invented the first useful light bulb and he knew how to show its value.

Anyone can have a great idea, but only a great entrepreneur can make money with that idea. You probably have a great idea or product too. Just about everyone does. But do you know how to make money with it?

If you have the courage to pursue your idea, start with baby steps. Start with research, talking to people and flushing out your idea. Once you have figured out how to make money, THEN the fun begins. But, start with step one.

Thank you for reading. As always, if you find value in theis, please share with your friends.
Here's to making life better,

How the Financial Crisis Was Built Into the World System

How did we get into the current financial mess? Great question!

By Robert Kiyosaki
Turmoil in the Making
In 1910, seven men held a secret meeting on Jekyll Island off the coast of Georgia. It's estimated that those seven men represented one-sixth of the world's wealth. Six were Americans representing J.P. Morgan, John D. Rockefeller, and the U.S. government. One was a European representing the Rothschilds and Warburgs.

In 1913, the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank was created as a direct result of that secret meeting. Interestingly, the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank isn't federal, there are no reserves, and it's not a bank. Those seven men, some American and some European, created this new entity, commonly referred to as the Fed, to take control of the banking system and the money supply of the United States.

In 1944, a meeting in Bretton Woods, N.H., led to the creation of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. While the stated purposes for the two new organizations initially sounded admirable, the IMF and the World Bank were created to do to the world what the Federal Reserve Bank does to the United States.

In 1971, President Richard Nixon signed an executive order declaring that the United States no longer had to redeem its paper dollars for gold. With that, the first phase of the takeover of the world banking system and money supply was complete.

In 2008, the world is in economic turmoil. The rich are getting richer, but most people are becoming poorer. Much of this turmoil is directly related to those meetings that took place decades ago. In other words, much of this turmoil is by design.

Power and Domination
Some people say these events are part of a grand conspiracy, and that might well be. Some people say they represent the struggle between capitalists, communists and socialists, and that might be, too.

I personally don't participate in the debate over a possible global conspiracy; it's a waste of time. To me, the wider struggle is for power and domination. And while this struggle has done a lot of good — and a lot of bad — I just want to know how to avoid becoming its victim. I see no reason to be a mouse trying to stop a herd of elephants from fighting.

Currently, many people are suffering due to high oil price, the slowdown in the economy, loss of jobs, declines in home values, increased bankruptcies and businesses closings, savings being wiped out, the plummeting stock market, and rising inflation. These realities are all direct results of this financial power struggle, and millions of people are its victims today.

An Extreme Example
I was in South Africa in July of this year. During my television and radio interviews there, I was often asked my opinion on the world economy. Speaking bluntly, I said that South Africans had a better opportunity of comprehending the global turmoil because they're neighbors to Zimbabwe, a country run by Robert Mugabe.

In my interviews, I said, "What Mugabe has done to Zimbabwe, the Federal Reserve Bank and the IMF are doing to the world." Obviously, my statements disturbed many of the journalists. I did my best to comfort them and assure them I was not an anarchist. I explained, as best I could, that Zimbabwe was an extreme example of an out of control power struggle.

After they were assured I was only using Zimbabwe to illustrate my point, I said, "If you want to understand the world economy, take a refugee from Zimbabwe to lunch." I advised them to ask the refugee these questions:

How fast did the economy turn?
When did you know that you were in financial trouble?
When did you finally decide to leave Zimbabwe?
If you could do things differently, what would you have done?
Three Approaches to a Crumbling Economy

I spoke to three young couples from Zimbabwe while I was in South Africa. Two couples were recent refugees now living in South Africa, and one couple still lives in Zimbabwe. All three couples had interesting stories to tell.

One couple said that they would have quit their jobs earlier. Instead, they hung on, hoping the economy would change. Then, virtually overnight, the value of the Zimbabwean dollar dropped and inflation went through the roof. Even though they received pay raises, the couple couldn't survive and soon depleted their savings. They left Zimbabwe by car with almost nothing. If they could've done something differently, they told me, they would have started a business in Zimbabwe and began exporting products to South Africa, so that they would have had South African currency and a bank account there before they fled.

The second couple that fled the country said they saved money and paid off their house and other debts even as the Zimbabwean dollar fell in value. Looking back, they say they would've saved nothing and gotten deeply in debt in Zimbabwe, allowing them to pay off their debt with the cheaper dollars. Instead, they fled after they lost their jobs, leaving behind their house and owning $200,000 in nearly worthless Zimbabwean dollars.

The third couple still lives in Zimbabwe. When they saw the writing on the wall, they set up a business in South Africa and, with the profits, began acquiring tangible assets in Zimbabwe. Often, they'll buy an asset in Zimbabwe and pay the seller in South African currency. They believe that once Mugabe is gone and order is restored, they'll be in a strong financial position.

Many Problems, Few Solutions

There are three major problems with the events of 1913, 1944, and 1971. The first is that the Fed, the World Bank, and the IMF are allowed to create money out of nothing. This is the primary cause of global inflation. Global inflation devalues our work and our savings by raising the prices of necessities.

For example, when gas prices soared, many people said that the price of oil was going up. In reality, the main cause of the high price of oil is the decreasing value of the dollar. The Fed, the World Bank, and the IMF, like Zimbabwe, are mass-producing funny money, thereby increasing prices and devaluing our quality of life.

The second problem is that our economic crises are getting bigger. In the 1970s, the Fed faced and solved million-dollar crises. In the 1980s, it was billion-dollar crises. Today, we have trillion-dollar crises. Unfortunately, these bigger crises mean more funny money entering the system.

Apocalypse Soon
The third problem is that in 1913, the Fed only protected the large commercial banks such as Bank of America. After 1944, the Fed, the World Bank, and the IMF began bailing out Third World nations such as Tanzania and Mexico. Then, in 2008, the Fed began bailing out investment banks such as Bear Sterns, and its role in the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac debacle is well known. By 2020, the biggest of bailout of all will probably occur: Social Security and Medicare, which will cost at least a $100 trillion.

Even if we find more oil and produce more food, prices will continue to rise because the value of the dollar will continue to decline. The dollar has lost over 90 percent of its value since the Fed was created. The U.S. dollar will continue to decline because of those seven men on Jekyll Island in 1910.

Granted, the funny-money system has done a lot of good — it has improved the world and made a lot of people rich. But it's also done a lot of bad. I believe somewhere between today and 2020, the system will break. We're on the eve of financial destruction, and that's why it's in gold I trust. I'd rather be a victor than a victim.

The medicinal wonders of African Star Apple (Agbalumo, Udala,Udara)

African star Apple (Agbalumo)

African star apple also known as Agbalumo or Udara in Nigeria, is associated with the dry season and has been enjoyed over the years by Nigerians as a fruit. But more studies are supporting its folklore use for treating diseases such as diabetes, heart diseases and drug resistant bacteria. African star apple also known as Agbalumo in Nigeria.Botanically called Chrysophyllum albidum, white star apple belongs to the Sapotaceae family.
Nigerians, particular Lagosians are familiar with the indigenous fruit known as 'agbalumo' in Yoruba and 'Udara' in Igbo. It is a round, orangish fruit, about the size of a tennis ball -at times bigger. But interestingly, other than the local name, little or nothing is known about this fruit by most of its consumers. By the time you finished reading through this article, it will amaze you what interesting and educative information you will gather.

When ripe, the fruit has a tender, sweet & tart tasting inner flesh which is also dark red/orange in colour again depending on stage of ripeness. The fruit also possesses a cluster of about 5 large seeds stuck together in the shape of a star. The seeds have a shiny hard brown casing which feels like plastic and are covered with a cream-ish white fibrous sweet membrane.

Agbalumo is a seasonal fruit and in Nigeria, you find them at every market in urban and rural towns particularity in the months of December to April when they are in season. Traditionally, the fruits are not harvested from the trees, but left to drop naturally to the ground before they are picked. They are rarely used in cooking but rather, when ripe, they are eaten raw as snacks.

The star apple tree secretes a whitish sap/latex which gives the pulp/flesh a chewing-gum like texture!

Scientific Name:  Chrysophyllum Albidum
English Name: African Star Apple

Properties: Sub-spherical in shape, about 3cm in diameter, usually 5-celled and contain an edible, sweet fruit-pulp.
Found in:  low land rain forest zones and villages.
Medicinal Uses of African Star Apple
1.       Excellent source of vitamins, irons, flavours to diets
2.       Good remedies for sore-throat, tooth-ache, constipation, and much more.
A recent study by researchers at the Department of Biological Sciences, College of Science and Technology, Covenant University Ogun State in Nigeria showed that the local cherry fruit, African star apple (Agbalumo, Udara) lowered blood sugar and cholesterol, and could be useful in preventing and treating heart diseases.

Previous studies indicate that the roots, barks and leaves of agbalumo or udara have been employed in folk medicine for the treatment of diseases.
  • Bark:  Used for the treatment of yellow fever and malaria.
  • Leaf: Used as an emollient and for the treatment of skin eruption, stomachache and diarrhea.
  • The cotyledons: The cotyledons from the seeds of agbalumo are used as ointments in the treatment of vaginal and dermatological.
So when next you see agbalumo in the market, do yourself a world of good by buying some. And if you're already a fan, now you have more reasons to eat more.

 MORE MEDICINAL BENEFITS OF AGBALUMO

Nutritional Profile:
Star apples are a rich source of calcium, with each serving providing up to 10% of the recommended daily allowance (RDA). This fruit also contains good amounts of vitamins A and C (higher, in fact than levels found in oranges or guava). Star apples are also quite rich in iron (a mineral the body needs daily).

According to a report published by the African Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, the leaves of the star apple tree and to some extent the flesh of the fruit itself, possess some chemical nutrients which have similar properties to insulin found in the body, and believed to effectively reduce blood sugar levels. This property makes the leaves/fruits useful medically, for the treatment of type two diabetes though further research is being carried out.

Some other traditional uses/remedies of the star apples (including fruits, leaves and bark) includes:
  • Reduction of inflammation associated with laryngitis (sore throat) and pneumonia
  • Treatment for hypertension & heart problems
  • Antibacterial properties useful in the relief of tooth abscesses, intestinal/stomach upset, skin infection and diarrhoea.
Weight control:
Star apples are rich in dietary fibre. Eating up to 3-5 fruits can give a feeling of being full and keep dieters from over-eating and consequently controlling calorie/food intake thereby helping to control/manage weight.

Agbalumo has an ‘English name’ o! (or maybe two). And it is the African Star Apple or White Star Apple. I used to think it was a cherry of sort; thanks to research, I know better…
Ever heard of African Star Apple? What about White Star Apple? Maybe not!  Okay, here’s another name that may ring a bell:  Agbalumo!

And if you are still wondering what it is, Agbalumo, is that round, sharp tasting, orange- coloured (sometimes red) fruit about the size of a table-tennis ball. Commonly known as Agbalumo by the Yorubas' in South-West Nigeria, Udara in the South Eastern part of the country and Uda in the Niger-Delta region of Nigeria, the fruit is widely loved by both adults and children alike in Nigeria; its sharp taste notwithstanding. Let’s settle for its most predominant name in the South Western part of Nigeria – Agbalumo – at least for the purpose of this article.

Its popularity is not the only unique thing about it. Agbalumo also happens to be a very nutritious fruit. It is an excellent source of vitamins and irons. It can be used as a good remedy for sore throat, toothache and constipation.

But that’s not all. Agbalumo lowers the blood sugar and cholesterol level in the body and it helps in preventing and treating heart diseases. Its seeds are used as ointments in the treatment of vaginal and dermatological infections. They are also an excellent source of calcium, potassium, phosphorous, magnesium and many more.  And just in case you don’t know, the fruit contains more vitamin C than guava or orange.
Its nutritional value does not end there. Its outer skin is also very medicinal as it is used for the treatment of yellow fever and malaria. The leaf is also used as an emollient and for the treatment of skin eruption, stomach ache and diarrhea.

So the next time you pick up Agbalumo, remember that you are not only satisfying your craving for the delicious fruit, you are also providing your body with vital nutrition. And if you haven’t had your Agbalumo today, what are you waiting for? The raining season is here and it is Agbalumo time!
So, now you have more reasons to eat African star apple
